I’ve started doing yoga this year. I’ve been curious about it for a while now.
My only hesitation prior to this was my complete and utter lack of natural flexibility.
I can’t touch my toes, even sitting in down on the floor without my back up against the wall or something else to support me is uncomfortable.
Yoga Poses for Flexibility
For someone who is as fit as I am it’s a bit strange to say I can’t sit comfortably with my legs crossed. I’ve always been inflexible, I just figured some people are naturally flexible and some aren’t.
Yoga has always seemed to be about strength and flexibility. At least I have 1 of the 2 going for me.
Recently I’ve decided that I would do something about it. Performing various yoga poses for flexibility is a good way to start learning yoga and incorporate it as part of my fitness routine.
Yoga can be done anywhere, all you need is a mat (or a long towel) and some yoga poses.
